Today, Congressman Chris Stewart (UT-02) issued the following statement on legislating by executive orders: 

"Following last week’s executive orders, it seems like democrats are ready to appreciate anew the separation of powers that provide checks and balances in our government. Although the President pointed out a legal authority for each of his executive orders, perhaps this would be a good time for a bipartisan effort to return these powers to the legislative branch, the branch of the people."  - Rep.
