Chris Stewart (R-Utah), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Environment, held a hearing to examine the science behind the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) upcoming review of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for ozone. Stewart Pleased with Passage of Fruit Heights Land Conveyance Act

Today, the House of Representatives voted in favor of a transfer of 100 acres of land from the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) to the city of Fruit Heights in Davis County. Co-sponsored by Rep. Rob Bishop (R-Utah) and Rep. Chris Stewart (R-Utah), the Fruit Heights Land Conveyance Act, H.R. 993, is Stewart’s first piece of legislation to pass the House.
