Washington, D.C. – Today, President Donald Trump signed Rep. Chris Stewart (R-Utah) and Senator Orrin Hatch’s (R-Utah) legislation, the National Suicide Prevention Hotline Improvement Act (H.R. 2345), into law.
Washington, D.C. – Today, the House passed the 2019 Interior and Environment Appropriations bill, which included several of Rep. Chris Stewart’s (R-Utah) provisions that are critical for Utah.
Specifically Rep. Stewart’s amendments do the following:
Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Chris Stewart (R-Utah) and Rep. Jared Polis' (D-Colorado) bipartisan legislation, H.R. 4257 the Advancing Conservation and Education (ACE) Act, was passed unanimously by the House of Representatives.
Washington, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced that the University of Utah site, located in Milford, Utah, will receive up to $140 million in continued funding over the next five years for geothermal research and development.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Chris Stewart’s (R-Utah) legislation, the National Suicide Prevention Hotline Improvement Act, passed unanimously out of the Communications and Technology Subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Chris Stewart’s (R-Utah) legislation, H.R. 5597, passed out of the Natural Resources Committee. This legislation will provide a much needed transportation route in Washington County, Utah.
Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Chris Stewart’s (R-Utah) secured $15 million dollars for the Central Utah Project, Utah’s largest and most comprehensive water resource development program. Stewart secured this funding in the Energy and Water Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill.
Washington, D.C. – Today, the House passed H.R. 4, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Act, which included Rep. Chris Stewart’s (R-Utah) language that restores Wingpoint Golf Course at Salt Lake City International Airport.
